Dr. Robert Pinto

Dr. Robert Pinto is the co-creator of Pinto Innovative Health & Wellness. He is certified through the American Chiropractic Rehabilitation Board and has trained with world renowned authorities in physical rehabilitation techniques. He is trained in sports medicine and served as a member of the sports medicine team at the College of William & Mary for 26 years.

Dr. Pinto is certified in Extremity Adjusting and has been serving the Williamsburg community for over 30 years.

Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
Dr. Em is a physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R) physician dedicated to optimizing her patient’s quality of life by improving their mobility and daily function all while keeping their whole health in mind.

She graduated cum laude from Campbell University School of Osteopathic Medicine and was also the recipient of Student D.O. of the Year Award in 2019. She completed her PM&R residency at Virginia Commonwealth University where she served as Chief Resident.

Her career interests include integrative pain medicine, regenerative medicine, and lifestyle medicine.

Dr. Em loves time on the water, making people smile, and spending time with her fiancé and their two doodles.



Michele Heisel

Licensed Athletic Trainer
Michele is a Licensed Athletic Trainer, certified for 19 years through the Board of Certification for Athletic Trainers. She is a graduate of California University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training degree as well as the University of Virginia with a Master of Education with a specialization in Sports Medicine.

In 2018 Michele was awarded the Clinical & Emerging Practices Athletic Trainer of the Year, awarded by the Virginia Athletic Trainers’ Association.

When Michele is not in the office helping our patients, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three daughters.

Kelli Mullen is a Rehabilitation Specialist at Pinto Innovate Health & Wellness, working with patients in the therapy suite throughout their healing journey. A recent graduate of Bridgewater College, Kelli earned a Bachelor of Science in Health and Exercise Science, where she gained the knowledge and skills of the rehabilitation process and provided ways for better movement of life. When she is not in the office, Kelli enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her two dogs.

Jahaziel was born and raised in Venezuela. She came to the United States in 2016 to attend Winona State in Minnesota, where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Clinical Exercise Science. She and her husband moved to Williamsburg last year when he got a job at William and Mary (Go Tribe!). With her free time, she loves working out, reading, and exploring new places!

Jamie has dedicated the past 13 years to the wellness and growth of not only families but also individuals as a certified yoga teacher and practicing birth/postpartum doula. She started her yoga journey out of recovery from a car accident that left her wheelchair-bound, being told she may not walk again. Finding inner strength through her yoga practice, she devoted her new lease on life to helping others through their own journeys of wellness and growth. She is a 200 CYT, 85 PCYT , and 23 CCYT through Kidding Around Yoga, along with continuing education workshops in fertility and grief. She is a passionate reader and teaches workshops on mindfulness, journaling, and much more.
